Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Margin OS (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The Service

Margin OS provides profitability and cost analytics for Shopify stores, including order and product profit, COGS management, operating expenses, dashboards, and forecasting.

3. Subscription & Billing

The App is offered on a subscription basis at $5 per month following a 7-day free trial. All charges are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice, subject to Shopify's billing terms. You can cancel anytime from your Shopify admin; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Pricing and trial terms may change with notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to access it in an unauthorized way, reverse-engineering it, or using it to violate any law or Shopify's terms.

5. Accuracy & No Professional Advice

The App provides estimates and calculations for informational purposes only. Figures (including fees, costs, and profit) are based on data available to the App and on assumptions, and may not match your official accounting. The App does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for verifying figures before relying on them.

6. Data

Your use of data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter (such as costs) and for your rights to share store and customer data with the App.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Margin OS and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App while subscribed.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Margin OS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
